Environmental protection in tourism activities should become a consciousness

According to the proposal of the Ministry Office, the launching ceremony will take place on May 1, 2015 at Cua Lo Beach (Nghe An). After Cua Lo, localities having big beaches all over the country also organize the launching and departure to keep environmental sanitation at tourist sites. The Ministry Office will coordinate with the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, People's Committee of Nghe An province to deploy the content for the ceremony.

Vice Minister Dang Thi Bich Lien highly appreciated the initiative to organize the launching ceremony and requested the Ministry Office to be the focal point, in collaboration with related units such as VNAT, Department of Science, Technology and Environment to build content and implementation plan. He said that through the event, it is necessary to spread the message, raise awareness of people in environmental protection. He also asked the Ministry Office to study and draw up plans to hold annual and rotary events in localities.
