International visitors to Vietnam reached nearly 10.5 million in 10 months

In the past 10 months, there were 10,473,230 international visitors to Vietnam, up 28.1% over the same period in 2016, exceeding the year 2016.

In particular, the number of arrivals by airways reached 8,877,100 turns, up 31.0% over the same period in 2016;Arrivals by sea reached 204,707 arrivals, down 8.1%;Arrivals by road reached 1,391,423, an increase of 18.0%.

Compared with the same period in 2016, most of the international tourist arrivals to Vietnam increased, of which North East Asia market continued to increase sharply:South Korea (+ 53.9%), China (+ 45.6%), Hong Kong (+ 37.1%), Taiwan (+ 21.1%).In the European market, notably Russia rose 38.3%, Spain increased by 20.6% and many double-digit growth markets such as Sweden (+ 17.5%), Finland ( +15.2, Germany (+ 13.7%), Netherlands (+ 12.7%), Italy (+ 12.3%), and Great Britain (+11.8).In addition, the African and Australian markets continued to rise by 28.5% and 13.3%, respectively.

Estimated in the first 10 months of 2017, domestic tourists reached 63.1 million, of which 30.5 million visitors.Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 417,400 billion VND, up 25.9% over the same period of 2016.
