Urgent restore the Con Dao National Historical Monument

Con Dao National Historical Monument has been approved by the Prime Minister to adjust the master plan for conservation, embellishment and promotion of value in Decision No. 2163 / QD-TTg dated 2-12-2015, determined in the period of 2016-2020, some project groups will be deployed.

Over the past years, with the attention of the Central, Con Dao relics gradually invested in restoration and embellishment. However, due to the limited allocation of capital, it did not meet the requirements.

Currently, in addition to Project 2 and Chuong Bo have been invested, the remaining items under the project group 2 are seriously degraded, need urgent restoration. Ba Ria - Vung Tau People's Committee proposed the Government to consider supplementing the projects of group 2 into the national medium-term investment plan for 2016-2020 by the central budget and allocating capital in 2018 to timely protection of monuments.
