Party secretaries of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province worked with district leaders

At the working session, leaders of District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front of Con Dao district reported to the Secretary of Provincial Party Committee some outstanding results on the socio-economic development, security - the national defense of the district in 2017 and the direction and tasks in 2018, the plan of organizing activities to commemorate the 88th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year in 2018 with the following activities: Ceremony of visiting Hang Duong cemetery and Con Dao Temple; Organizing visits, giving presents, mobilizing policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, armed forces units located in the area; Tet grants for policy beneficiaries, disadvantaged households; organization of Spring Newspaper, Spring Festival; spring flower-pet scene; held the fireworks at New Year's Eve in the historic pier area 914 and many cultural activities, arts and sports to create a cheerful atmosphere for officials, soldiers and people in the district on the occasion of New Year spring.

In addition, in order to ensure that officials, soldiers and people enjoy spring festival in a safe, thrifty and healthy way, the People's Committee of Con Dao district has instructed the agencies and units to organize the implementation. to prepare goods, stabilize the market, ensure food hygiene and safety, environmental hygiene, make plans on combat readiness, ensure security and order, traffic safety and prevention fire in the district before, during and after the Lunar New Year.

Speaking at the meeting, Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh highly appreciated the task of preparing the Lunar New Year and organized the celebration party of the Spring Festival of Con Dao district. At the same time, recognizing and praising the efforts of the Party, authorities, army and people of Con Dao district regarding the achievements of socio-economic development, national defense and security, the Party construction work  in 2017. In order to successfully carry out the task of 2018, Mr.Nguyen Hong Linh asked all levels of party committees, local authorities to unite, actively overcome difficulties, bring into full play of the results achieved in the year 2017, accomplish the socio-economic targets in 2018 as planned, contributing to the development of the province. Priority should be given to the development of tourism and services in a sustainable manner, with emphasis on preserving the natural environment and preserving the ecological environment.
