The 66th dealth anniversary of the heroic woman of the People's Armed Forces of Vietnam - Vo Thi Sau

After organizing an incense offering at the tomb of Mrs.Vo Thi Sau in B2, Hang Duong cemetery, delegates and guests came to Con Dao Temple to attend worshipping - visiting - sacrificing activities according to folk beliefs to gratitude, tribute to the faithful, indomitable girl of the land of Dat Do.

Vo Thi Sau was born in 1933 in Phuoc Long Tho Commune, Dat Do District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. She joined the police force volunteered to eliminate pardons from 1947. Only in a short time that her name has been associated with many resounding victories, became fear of the enemy. In early 1950, she was captured by the enemy. Before enemy, she did not shake the will, persistence, indomitable, do not step back to the most brutal torture. In the morning of January 23, 1952, she was executed by the French at Hang Duong cemetery, Con Dao. Before death, she was still standing in front of the enemy gun, singing revolutionary songs. She sacrificed her youthful life on the land of sacred Con Dao. Her example made famous for the younger generation to follow.
