Opening ceremony of ITE Fair 2018

On the morning of September 6, 2018 at Saigon-SECC Exhibition and Convention Center (District 7, HCMC), Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism co-ordinated with People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City officially cut the ribbon opening the 14th International Tourism Fair (ITE-HCMC 2018)

Attendees of Vietnamese party included a member of Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien; Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Vinh Tien; General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Van Tuan; Director of Tourism Department. Ho Chi Minh City Bui Ta Hoang Vu. Representatives from Asian countries include Bounthieng Khounsy, President of Lao Front for Construction of National Capital of Vientiane, Laos; Mr.So Visothy - Deputy Secretary of State, Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia; Hirose Noriko - Ambassador of Tourism. Ho Chi Minh City in Aichi Prefecture (Japan); Ms. Doan Hai Hong - Chargé d'Affaires of Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Jack Wei - Executive Director of Informa Exhibition (Asia).

Themed "The gateway to Asian tourism", this year's Fair has participation of more than 40 countries and territories with nearly 300 booths. During this fair, the event continued to be expanded in both quantity and quality by attracting 375 vendors including airlines, hotels and resorts, tour operators, Major corporations and travel agents from countries like Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, ... with businesses in more than 37 provinces in Vietnam.

Visitors to find out information, pictures on Con Dao tourism

Participating in this event, Con Dao cooperated with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Information and Promotion Center to organize to advertise information, pictures of Con Dao tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.
