Sa Pa Winter Festival to take place in December

This is the second year Sa Pa has organized the festival, with an array of cultural and art activities and special performances featuring the cultural identity of ethnic groups.

The event will be divided into two phases, with the focus on December 22nd – 24th and December 29th – 31st.

The Sa Pa Snow Discovery Festival will include activities such as: artificial snow spray, activities to welcome New Year 2018, and traditional arts of ethnic groups such as singing, folk games and folk cuisine, highlighting the fire dance festival of the Red Dao ethnic group.

Along with the above activities, Sa Pa district is preparing for a street festival with parade activities, showcasing the beauty of unique ethnic costumes, in combination with lion and dragon dances, on December 31st.
