Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) worked with the World Travel Media Guild

The World Travel Media Guild consist of journalists from a variety of countries operating in an open and flexible manner in the field of tourism, such as introducing of travel destination, connecting of reporters operating in the field of tourism, connecting travel companyies...

At the meeting, Mr. Vu Nam - Deputy Director of Tourism Market Department announced some achievements that Vietnam tourism achieved in recent years and some directions, policies for tourism development in Vietnam in the next time. About promotion and advertising, VNAT annually participates in major tourism fairs in the world, organizes two domestic travel fairs and welcomes many delegations of media, bloggers and tourism businesses.

According to President Jim Thompson, the World Travel Media Guild has sent delegations to some countries in the region such as India, China, Cambodia, Indonesia ... and looked forward to organize tourism seminars, famtour programs for its members to Vietnam to write travel brochures, advice and propose ideas for tourism development with Viet Nam’s tourism governmental agencies.

Mr. Vu Nam said that VNAT will organize programs to introduce Viet Nam tourism in the US and North Europe in the coming time so Viet Nam desire to receiving the support of journalists who are members of the World Travel Media Guild. The International Tourism Fair held in the next September will be a good change for the World Travel Media Guild to explore opportunities for connecting, co-operation.
