In the afternoon of October 1st 2022, in Ben Dam storm shelter port, Con Dao district, there was a welcoming ceremony to Le Laperouse international tourism vessel.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Nga - Vice Chairman of Con Dao District People's Committee and representatives of units directly welcomed these international passengers. Con Dao District People's Committee has implemented the program "Welcome to Con Dao Island" to show friendliness and hospitality, thereby creating a good impression for international tourists about the image, country and people of Vietnam in general as well as Con Dao district in particular. In Con Dao, passengers will be divided into 2 groups and guided to visit historical sites: Con Dao Museum, Phu Hai Camp Relic, French Tiger Cage, Hang Duong Cemetery, Ba Phi Yen Temple and experience coral diving program at Hon Cau.
