From Con Dao town center, you can go by car or motorbike, bicycle to get to the interesting point and challenge visitors. This is a very suitable tourist route for travelers who like mountain climbing, the visitor center will follow Huynh Thuc Khang Street to the foot of Thanh Gia mountain, located right on the way, visitors will be passing through An Hai Lake, this is a large freshwater lake used to supply water sweet lake for the whole island district.
Tourists will find it is very excited to see a lot of lotus flowers are blooming in the lake and will be surprised to see the flora and fauna only in a freshwater alluvial area but they are existing in the middle of the sea in this area.
Tourists will take about an hour to climb the mountain to reach the ThanhGia Mountain 577m high, this is the highest mountain of Con Dao archipelago. To conquer this mountain, visitors will pass through cool primeval forests and see many rare and precious forest fauna and flora and there are endemic species in Con Dao.
It feels great to get to the top of the mountain, all the tiredness you experience will be forgotten when you are immersed in a fresh atmosphere, with cool clouds surrounding you. From the top of this mountain, visitors can observe the whole of Con Dao archipelago, with the forest, the vast sea and the small islands located around the big island of Con Son.
