The "Green Living Festival," organized by the Department of Information and Communications of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province in collaboration with the Con Dao District People's Committee, aims to promote environmental protection and sustainable development of the islands in Ba Ria - Vung Tau for 2024, under the theme "For a Green Sea and Island," will officially take place on December 17 in Con Dao District.
This meaningful event is being held on a large scale with the participation of various government agencies, youth organizations, students, and the enthusiastic support of the local community.

As part of the Green Living Festival, several key activities were organized, including: cleaning up trash on the beach in the area of Hang Keo Cemetery and nearby beaches; distributing reusable fabric bags to replace plastic bags in daily life; organizing the “Green Offering Basket” contest; promoting policies and directives to limit the use of single-use plastics and non-biodegradable bags; encouraging the production of environmentally friendly products to replace traditional plastic products, implemented nationwide; and launching many campaigns to prevent plastic waste that attract the community participation.
