So Co monumentis built by French colonialists in 1929, to serve the prison ruling apparatus. Entering the American imperial period, this house is the headquarters of the Military Police. In particular, So Co is the place to save the last hours for life of the first and only French colonial female prisoner, Vo ThiSau. When she came to the school in Con Dao, she was close to death, but she still maintained the temperament of the Communists, optimistic about the victory of the revolution. Her indomitable example has become the pride of the nation's youth when referring to her name. Presently, So Co monument is restored and used as a souvenir gallery for female Hero “Vo ThiSau”. So Co monument was signed by the Prime Minister Decision No. 548 / QD-TTg as a Special National Monument on 10/5/2012.
