There are two main ways to reach Con Dao:
By Air: Vietnam Airlines operates direct flights to Con Dao from Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho, with a flight time of around 50 minutes—a great option if you want to save time. VietJet also operates direct flights to Con Dao from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh city.
By Ferry: From April to June, the seas are calm, making ferry travel enjoyable. You can travel by bus to Vung Tau, then board a ferry to Con Dao (about 5 hours). A shorter route is from Tran De Port in Soc Trang, which takes only 2 hours by high-speed boat. Also from Ho Chi Minh City to Con Daro, which takes around 7 hours
