Visiting tour: Tourism Pier - HonTai islet- Bay Canh islet

The ship will pick up visitorsfrom tourism pier and takes them Hon Tai islet. When looking back the place of departure you can see all of Con Son Bay and center area of Con Dao district, which is surrounded by Chua, So Ray and Thanh Gia mountain (the highest mountain)

If you are lucky man, you can catch dolphin chasing fishing boatsor Dugong coming to the surface to breathe or sea turtles (a kind of turtle) making love in the breeding season. They resurface on the sea and ignore tourists filming, photography as they like. Visitors can visit Red Face monkey farm,  a kind of monkey that appear in the Vietnam Red Book.

Then tourists continue to go to Bay Canh islet. They can stop atsome positions to try fishing or diving to watch colorful coral and  fish swimming around on the way. When arriving at Bay Canh islet, visitors can take a mangrove swamp tour, stop off at the sea turtle conservation station to explorethe growth line of sea turtles, and especially visitors can stay overnight on Bay Canh islet to see sea ??turtles crawl up the sand to lay their eggs.

A small tip for tourists!

Bay Canh Islet is located in the Eastof  Con Son Island, an area of ??683 hectares, consists oftwo parts interconnected by a sand bank called Bai Cat Lon. The whole islet is covered by island tropical forest. The wildlife distributed here aresome endemic and precious animals such as Soc Mun, Soc Den - Con Dao, monitor lizards, pythons, snakes, some sea birds ...

Bai Cat Lon is oneof  the14 beaches for Con Dao sea turtles’ breeding. It is also the beach attracting the largest number of turtles to lay their eggs on Con Daoisland. During the breeding season (from April to September every year), there are at least from 1-2 individuals to 20-30 sea turtles nesting  and spawn on Bai Cat Lon.
