Con Dao district prepares to welcome the year of Chicken 2017 (Dinh Dau)

Meeting to wish everybody a happy new year, Lunar new year 2017 in Con Dao district

To serve the officers, soldiers and people  a Tet holiday  and celebrate the 87th anniversary of the founding of  the Viet Nam Communist  Party in Con Dao district, Con Dao’s government has assigned the task of preparing the organization of activities to welcome the spring with more practical activities. These activities will be organized from 23th January 2017 (the 26th day of the last lunar month) to end 06th February 2017 (the 10th day of the first lunar month). They will visit and care for families in preferential treatment policies, the armed forces, the social protection beneficiaries, families in difficult circumstances in the district.

The 65th death anniversary  of  Ms  Vo Thi Sau, a Heroine of the People's Armed Forces will be held on 23th January, 2017 (the 26th day of  December of lunar calendar) in Con Dao Temple.

Visiting Hang Duong cemetery and Con Dao Temple will be taken place at 06:30 am minutes on 25th January 2017 (the 28th day of December of lunar calendar).

Traditional sports and public cultural performances will be held on the stage of Con Dao Temple on 22th January 2017 (the 25th day of  December of lunar calendar).

“Ring yellow bell” program will be held to learn about  Ms Vo Thi Sau on 24 th January 2017 (the 27th day of December of Lunar Calendar).

The cultural shows at Spring flower District will be held on the same day at the intersection of Nguyen Hue street and Le Hong Phong street.

Some exhibitions with the themes: "Uncle Ton and  Military of Vietnam" in collaboration with Ton Duc Thang Museum, " Island Sovereignty" at Con Dao Museum, " Con Dao History through stored data" in collaboration with National Archives Center at the Lord island’s House," Echo of tiger cages " at Phu Hai Camp and " Ho Chi Minh - the most beautiful names". In addition, Con Dao district will also hold Festival of Spring Press at Con Dao Library, Spring Flower Park 2017,  Floral Park, Floral Park Spring – Decorative on Le Hong Phong street, contest of culinary culture ...

Mobilizing all officers, soldiers and people in the district to participate in the above activities. Especially, the participation of tourism establishments branding, promoting tourism products to visitors domestic and foreign. This is the cultural activities at the district level, concentrate on forms of cultural arts, sports, food trade, entertainment, spring flowers, taking care of the material life of social subjects, soldiers’ families, families in difficulty, serving and creating a healthy playground, joyful atmosphere for officers, soldiers and people with the motto “everyone has a happy spring, Spring 2017”.
