An Son Temple, also known as Mieu Ba, is a rare folklore heritage of Con Dao.  The temple is located about 2km to the Southwest of Con Dao center. An Son  Temple has gone through ups and downs, through both times of integrity and destruction, and finally got restored up until now.

Pier 914

Regarding the history of the pier construction, there has been no document to determine the exact commencement date so far. It is only known that in 1874, the  Pier was already formed, with 120 meters long, 4 meters wide, and a sketch of  107 meters, from the edge in front of the gate of the Lord Palace straight to Con  Son Bay. People call the Pier by the numbers 871; 914; 915 to commemorate the number of people who had died during the construction of the Pier. Those numbers are more or less approximate. The Pier relic is located close to Ton Duc  Thang Street, opposite the Island Lord Palace. There is Cong Quan House on the left and Ton Duc Thang Park on the right (i.e the old Department of Net) of the  Pier.

Con Dao district is an archipelago of 16 large and small islands with a total area of 76.71km2, located in an area with geographical coordinates from 106°31' E to 106°45' E; from 8°34' N to 8°49' N. Con Dao is located in the Southeast, 90 nautical miles (179 km) from Vung Tau city, about 45 nautical miles (83 km) from the estuary of Hau river (the closest place to Con Dao is Vinh Hai, Vinh Chau, and Soc Trang communes), and 230km from Ho Chi Minh City.
