Many tourists wake up very early to visit famous cafes and check-in spots in Con Dao to enjoy the peaceful moments of the start of a new day.

At dawn on the weekend, “Sunrise Con Dao Café” attracts youth who come to enjoy coffee and wait for the sunrise. Many take the opportunity to capture photos with the clouds tinged with pink over the sea. Besides its historical sites and spiritual tourism spots, Con Dao also owns many beaches and small islands with pristine beauty.

Surrounded by the sea, Con Dao is a place where tourists can fully enjoy both sunrise and sunset in all seasons of the year. The island's main direction is towards the East, with many beautiful sunrise spots such as Pier 914, Tau Be Cape, Ben Dam Port, and Sunrise Con Dao Café.

Around 5:30 AM, the tables and chairs set closely along the seaside begin to fill up with customers. The café is decorated in a rustic style with tables made from logs and rocks, foldable chairs, and thatched huts along with miniature wooden features like bird nests and swings. The drinks here are priced from 30,000 to 40,000 VND per item.

The first time hunting sunrise in Con Dao at this spot, Ms. An and Trang (tourists from Bac Ninh) were quite satisfied with the experience. "The café is simple, has a refreshing atmosphere, and the drinks are quite cheap compared to other tourist spots," Ms. Trang said. Previously, she had watched the sunrise at Pier 914, another beautiful spot with many photo angles. The two female tourists spent 2 days and 1 night in Con Dao, then continued to fly to Ho Chi Minh City for more merriment before returning to Hanoi.

The summer weather on the island is quite unpredictable, it’s sunshine one minute, then rain comes right after. After moments of waiting, tourists had the opportunity to witness the sun appearing round and bright after the clouds. The radiant morning light gilded the surface of the sea, while below, mysterious black clouds formed intriguing shapes, all creating a majestic and impressive scene.

Ngoc Bich (from Ca Mau) woke up at 4 AM to prepare for watching the sunrise. "Our group consists of 10 people, so it took quite a bit of time to get ready before leaving the hotel. Luckily, everyone was willing to wake up early," she shared. She was introduced to this location by a local guide. "Watching the sunrise here is amazing, it's peaceful and relaxing. Every year I come to Con Dao at least once, and each season brings different types of flowers and scenery, providing a unique experience," Bich said.

Pier 914 area also attracts many tourists to come for sightseeing and taking photos. With the sea on one side and mountains on the other side, this place boasts a tranquil and poetic scenery that leaves a strong impression on many tourists. It's also a famous historical site and a must-visit check-in spot when visiting Con Dao.

Along the eastern beaches are also favorite photography spots for many young people. Tram Nguyen (a tourist from Binh Duong) shared that as soon as she set foot out of the boat, she was quickly captivated by the pristine blue sea here. "With only 2 days and 1 night on the island, my family and I took the opportunity to visit Miss Vo Thi Sau's grave (she is considered a Vietnamese national martyr and heroine), explore various tourist attractions, check in at different spots, and enjoy the local food here," the female tourist shared.

Con Dao boasts a series of beautiful beaches such as Dam Trau Beach, An Hai Beach, Nhat Beach, etc… Tourists can drive along the coastal road from Ben Dam Port to the center of the island to enjoy the cool breeze, admire the blue sea, and indulge in swimming in the pristine water. Additionally, exploring small islands, diving at Hon Cau and Hon Bay Canh, and joining sea turtle release tours,… also provide many exciting experiences for tourists.
