Ba Ria-Vung Tau calls for investment in Con Dao with many preferential policies
According to the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Department of Planning and Investment, with the policy of the province, when enterprises invest in Con Dao, they will get the following incentives: Corporate income tax exemption for 4 years will be reduced by 50% in the next 9 years for new investment projects;To be exempt from import tax on imported goods in order to create fixed assets of the project, including goods under regulations.
For projects in the areas of special investment incentives, they shall be exempt from land rent or water surface rent for the whole lease term;For projects in the field of investment incentives, they shall be exempt from land and water surface rents during the capital construction period, which shall not exceed 3 years, counting from the date of issuance of land rent or water surface rent decisions. Enterprises in the district are exempted for the next 15 years.

In addition, Ba Ria-Vung Tau has proposed that the Government and the Ministry of Transport have plans to invest in upgrading and expanding Co Ong airport in order to meet the needs domestic and international travelers, shorten the travel time of visitors.
On waterway traffic, continuing investing in increasing the number of passenger and cargo ships transporting Vung Tau - Con Dao and Con Dao - Soc Trang routes; focusing on upgrading the electricity and water supply in the area.
