Proposal to collect tourist fees to Con Dao

Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Department and Con Dao District People's Committee are petitioning Ba Ria - Vung Tau province to set up a plan to charge tourists to Con Dao.

The plan is given as a district that organizes ticket sales once. After buying tickets, visitors are free to visit the spots. People in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and those who come to work in Con Dao district (if they have full papers) will not be charged on it.

Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that the fee collection is for environmental sanitation, landscape improvement and construction of public works for tourists.
