Reported to the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Anh Nhut - Deputy Director of District People's Committee said: “According to the plan, in July/2017, Con Dao district focused on 13 key activities, including: Promoting the propaganda, education; Organizing cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports; To enhance the care for the families of martyrs, war invalids, diseased soldiers and people who help the revolution in the wars; Continue to launch the movement to contribute to the Fund of Gratitude; Organize a ceremony to visit Hang Duong cemetery and traditional gatherings; Organize rituals, visit Con Dao Temple; Con Dao district will be in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Television Station and BR-VT Broadcasting Station to hold two live TV programs including " Viet Nam is sacred " and "Follow the elders ".

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Martyrs' Day 27/7 in a safe, thoughtfulness, respectfulness and meaningfulness manner, Con Dao district has scheduled a detailed plan for activities, assigning tasks to related agencies. At the same time, from May 5/17, Con Dao District People's Committee has worked with Ho Chi Minh City Television Station and BR-VT Broadcasting Station to unify the content of two programs jointly organized live program " Viet Nam is sacred " and "Follow the elders "will take place on July 22 and 26 at Hang Duong Cemetery.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee appreciated the spirit and responsibility of Con Dao district in planning and coordinating the organization of 70th anniversary of Martyrs' Day 27/7. At the same time, she also ask the locality to continue to follow the general plan of the province to organize activities commemorating Martyrs Day; Coordinate with other provincial departments and sectors to carefully prepare all conditions for live program with safety and meaningfulness; Armed Forces units in the district have to develop a plan to ensure political security, social order and safety, absolute safety for delegations from the central and ministries attending the programs; Con Dao district People's Committee propaganda and mobilize people to keep environmental sanitation, create beautiful scenery for the island district, actively participate in live television programs as well as activities held by district to commemorate martyrs day. During the implementation of the plan, the People's Committee of Con Dao district timely report to the provincial Party Committee, the provincial People's Committee problems for leaders consider and resolve for cerating a solemn, thoughtful, meaningful but safe, economical anniversary of Martyrs Day.
