The boat starts from Tran De port in Soc Trang province at 7:30 am on 19/6/2017 and arrives at Ben Dam port of Con Dao district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province at 10:10 am on the same day. Leaders and people of Con Dao district are excited to welcome high-speed boat to Ben Dam port.

The boat was built in Malaysia with the investment of VND 50 billion. After completion, this boat has sent to Vietnam to conduct the test run for checking technical safety, route, the work of the two port and time accodance with the schedule. The boat has 2 floors, 4 cabins, including a VIP compartment, with a capacity of 306 passengers, ensuring absolute safety, equipped with life support system (float, life jacket ..), modern equipment, air-conditioned, comfortable seats, LCD TV, toilet, average speed of 26 knots.

The Soc Trang - Con Dao route is expected to operate according to the following schedule: from Tran De port (Soc Trang) - Ben Dam port (Con Dao) and vice versa. Schedule: 8 am from Tran De port to Ben Dam port; 13:00 pm from Ben Dam port to Tran De port, the journey time about 2 hours 30 minutes. Ticket price is VND 310,000 /adult, VND 230,000 /child, VND 260,000 / elderly, VND 200,000 / disabled person.

Con Dao is an attractive tourist destination, with great potential for development and is increasingly attracting more tourists. One of the biggest constraints to Con Dao's tourism development, however, is the limited connectivity of the land. Putting the Superdong speedboat into operation on the route from Soc Trang to Con Dao is to solve the traffic problem between the island and the mainland and to open a new route linking the western provinces with Con Dao.
