LAUNCHING A CAMPAIGN TO CLEAN UP THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT IN CON DAO DISTRICT

To continue activities within the scope of the program "Coast Guard accompanies with fishermen" in Con Dao district; on the morning of May 20, the Commanding Department of the Coast Guard 3, Ba Ria Vung Tau Provincial Committee for Public Relation coordinated with Con Dao district to organize the program of "hand in hand to clean the sea".

Participating in the campaign, hundreds of officers and soldiers of the 3rd Coast Guard Command, cadres, soldiers, students, youth union members and people on the island district went along the beach, collecting all kinds of garbage, such as plastic bottles, plastic bags, mesh, foam, rope, ... contribute to returning the green - clean - beautiful environment of “Con Son Bay” beach area.

Along with cleaning the beach, soldiers, union members, youths and members also combined propaganda and calling on people to raise awareness of environmental protection, not littering the beach and hand in hand to preserve the marine environment together.
It is known that this is the third year the Regional Police Department Command 3 has deployed the model of “Coast Guard companies with fishermen" model but it is the first time the program was held in Con Dao district.
