During the year, the District Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with member organizations and functional branches to have many practical and effective activities to propagate and encourage the people to promote the strength of the whole-people solidarity, well implement the Party's undertakings and guidelines; policies and laws of the State, Party Congress at all levels; purpose, meaning and results of the Party Congress; the great achievements of the country after 05 years of implementing the Resolution of the XII Congress of the Party (2015 - 2020); great views, undertakings and directions in documents of the Party Congress at all levels, the 7th Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Congress, the XIII National Congress of the Party; mobilize people to contribute to draft documents of Party Congress at all levels. They actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, contribute to the same level of Party committees and authorities in effectively implementing local socio-economic development plans, national defense and security. With the spirit of effort and determination, the patriotic emulation movements, the Front's movements and its member organizations have had many positive changes. In particular, the model "Support to build a house of unity, help difficult households to get better in life" and sustainable poverty reduction in 2020 practically established an achievement to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the traditional Vietnamese Fatherland Front. Model "Safe residential area for security and order, free from crime and social evils", "Team of propaganda and mobilization for urban civilized order, traffic safety, protect the environment in Con Dao district"; social monitoring and criticism are focused. The patriotic emulation movements, the campaigns which have been widely deployed and actively responded by the people, have really brought into play the Front's core role in propaganda and advocacy; contributed to creating favorable conditions and environment for people to participate in the development of production - business; sustainable poverty reduction, improvement of living conditions, legitimate wealth; arousing and promoting the good ethical values, traditional culture of the nation and the community. With the money to support the people of Central Vietnam caused by the floods, Viet Nam Fatherland Front Commitee considered and supported repairing 2 houses of solidarity for 2 ethnic households, provided unexpected difficulties to help 17 cases of medical examination and treatment, supported for the Lunar New Year, the International Day of the Elderly (October 1), November 18 for 247 turns of people with perfect difficulties, social protection beneficiaries, the elderly, supported for 56 people selling lottery tickets to meet difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, supported a district union member to build a house of "Trade Union Shelters", supported 37 lottery ticket sellers to carry out concentrated sales at fixed points, built and donated a house "Love of the Army - People", supported capital to buy seed to help a household get out of sustainably poverty .
