Conference summing up the 2017 emulation movement

On March 19, 2018 the People's Committee of the Con Dao district held a conference to summarize the emulation movement in 2017 and launched the emulation movement in 2018. Attending the conference were Mr.Vo Van Nam - Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee and leaders of District Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Committee of Fatherland Front of Con Dao district.

In 2017, the emulation movement spread far and wide in the fields in Con Dao district; Soldiers and Con Dao people actively responded and appeared many advanced models, new models, good ideas, effective ways of working, production ... contributing tocompletely exceeding the targets of socio-economic development of the locality.

In the field of economics, the value of industrial production was over 774 billion VND, up 17% over the same period. The value of agricultural production was over 40 billion VND, increasing by 10% compared to 2016. The value of fishery production was over 62 billion VND, increasing 43% over the same period. Total turnover of trade - services was 2,224 billion VND, up nearly 32% compared to the previous year. Total visitors to Con Dao reached 244.000, up 46% compared with 2016.

Implementing the movement "All people unite to build cultural life", there are 10 residential areas, 60 agencies, units, enterprises and schools and 376 households have won the cultural title for 3 consecutive years.

Along with that, the emulation movement in the field of culture also took place exciting, creating joyous atmosphere excited in the classes of people. The quality of education has developed, the number of good teachers, good students at all levels. The charitable activities of the 70th anniversary of martyrs day were held in a vibrant and practical way. The policies for people with merits are implemented timely, no longer policy households have difficulties in housingin the district.

Administrative reforms associated with the implementation of the "Five Administrative Regulations" are closely monitored; The sense of responsibility and the service attitude of civil servants are clearly improved. Political security, social order and safety are maintained stable.

Vo Van Nam, Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Committee for Emulation and Reward, recorded and evaluated the emulation movement of Con Dao district. high results of the island staff and people achieved through the implementation of the emulation movement; at the same time, it is requested that the committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations should continue to pay attention to the work of leading and directing the good work of emulation and commendation so that the emulation movements really become motivation for local development. Particular attention should be paid to new factors, typical examples, and replication of useful models and models to benefit the State and society.

Give merit certificates to collectors and individuals who have had outstanding achievements in the emulation movement.

Summing up the emulation movement in 2017, the people and officials of Con Dao district were honored to be awarded the emulation flag by the Prime Minister; two groups were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister; 1 collective and 7 individuals awarded certificates of merit. The People's Committee of Con Dao district awarded certificates of merit to 46 collectives for advanced labor, 30 individuals for grassroots emulation and 446 individuals for advanced labor in 2017. At the same time, the district People's Committee also commended 25 teams, 7 advanced soldiers and 72 residential officers for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2017.

At the conference, the People's Committee of Con Dao district launched and signed the 2018 competition between the emulation blocks in the district.
