Opening of the Spring Festival, Spring flower 2018

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Le Minh Nhut, commission member, Deputy Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Tran Tan Dat, Vice Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, commission member Member, Deputy Chairman of the District People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Anh Nhut, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee; Mr. Vo Van Viet, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of leaders of agencies, units and management boards of the residential areas and a large number of officials, soldiers and people classes in the district.

Spring flower scene of Lunar New Year 2018 was conducted along the Le Hong Phong road from Ton Duc Thang - Le Hong Phong roundabout to Nguyen Hue - Le Hong Phong roundabout with a total length of 168m, on the area over 3000 m2 displaying more than 20,000 pots of flowers, bonsai with 3 clusters: Con Dao - Heritage City; Con Dao - Green City and Con Dao - Integration and development. In addition, spring flowers are decorated with models of banh chung (square glutinous rice cake), teddy bears, heritage tree, banana boat, dog house family ... In addition, spring flowers are decorated by hundreds lanterns, lights, 1,200 led lights and many other decorative lights, combined with small scenes showing the cultural rich spirit of the nation.

Next to the spring flower area is the spring Mau Tuat fun area with over 20 bonus stores, games for children. Besides, there are fast food stalls, refreshments serving the needs of spring fun of Con Dao people and visitors.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Nhut, Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Con Dao district affirmed that the organization of spring recreation area - petlife spring flower is the effort of the party committee, local authorities to create cadres, soldiers and people welcome a new spring in the fun, cheerful and healthy air. After the opening drum part of Nguyen Anh Nhut, people as well as visitors are enjoying the drum dance and cultural performances organized by District Cultural Center with themes of love for the homeland, songs of the Party & spring celebration, songs of love and youth ... Especially this occasion, the District Cultural Center has invited some artists from the mainland to perform, attracting the attention of a lot of viewers.

Spring Flower Festival - Spring Festival this year is held from 11/02/2018 to 25/02/2018. This is one of the meaningful activities to create a joyful and healthy atmosphere for officials, soldiers and people in remote island districts in the coming days of the spring.
