Con Dao launches "Olympic Run for All Health" in 2018

On the morning of March 24, Con Dao district held the launching ceremony of the 2018 Olympic Day for the Health of the whole people towards the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (27/3/1946 - 27/3/2018) and respond to the Olympic Day run by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Le Van Duc, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Phong, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of People's Committee of district; Mr.Le Minh Nhut Vice Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Tran Tan Dat, Vice Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr.Nguyen Anh Nhut, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; cadres, civil servants and officials of agencies and units; Officers and soldiers of the armed forces with large numbers of students and people of all classes in Con Dao district.

The 2018 Olympic Day for People's Health was launched by the Con Dao district to propagate and mobilize people from all walks of life to participate in the Olympic Games and exercise.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Nguyen Anh Nhut, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee called on cadres, civil servants and officials of agencies, units and people of all walks of life to actively participate in physical training to respond to the campaign "All people exercise their body following the example of Uncle Ho", gradually formed the habit of exercising regularly, improving health and quality of life, thereby building the environment. This is a good cultural school, contributing to the constructive development of Con Dao district.

After the launching ceremony, leaders of Con Dao district and a large number of officers, soldiers and people in the district have jogged on the main road in Con Dao town with a total distance of 1000m.
