Tourism development towards sustainable, high quality, becoming one of the four important economic pillars of the province should be based on "tourism resources", in which historical, cultural and public relics, architectural works, arts, festivals ... are extremely important.

The tourism resources of BR-VT province are consist of the rich and diverse historical and cultural relics (HCR). With 49 relics ranked at the provincial and national levels in the area, they are marks of the heroic history from the time when Vietnamese people came to reclaim the land of Mo Xoai (XVII century), to the struggle for the government, two the resistance war of national liberation and the homeland building of the BR-VT people.
Although the Draft did not mention the achievements of the tourism industry, exploiting and promoting the values of the HCR, the limited and weak part stated: "The conservation and promotion of historical and cultural relics for tourism development are still weak ”. That judgment is certainly agreed by many people. I agree with the policy: "Focus on developing high-class tourism brands in the area, developing high-class tourism products of 8 types of tourism", including "historical and cultural - spiritual tourism".
The potential is enormous, but the question arises: How will tourism exploit HCR to bring efficiency? With my own thoughts, I suggest:
Firstly, it is necessary to have a close and unified connection between tourism and culture. Activities of this industry must be the premise, basis, conditions for other industries, and vice versa. The HCR resource is an important foundation to help tourism to develop. Tourism development not only contributes greatly to the GRDP but also provides additional funding for reinvestment in conservation, restoration, and embellishment of the relic system. Well-coordinated mechanisms of cooperation will support and promote each other. When the monument is preserved and tourism develops, it will create many opportunities for potential international prestige investors to BR-VT.
Secondly, the HCR is not only a place to spend money but also become a resource to educate the tradition, promote the image of the land, people of BR-VT, and create material wealth through tourism activities. But it is necessary to develop provincial tourism in the direction of "Responsible tourism", which means: Tourism activities must respect, optimally exploit the value of monuments, promote economic and social upward; preserving cultural values, ecological environment; ensure the harmony of interests between State, businesses, local people and tourists; creating the highest funding source for monuments conservation investment. As the message from the Prime Minister's Message: "To lose heritage, even in part, is to shoot in the past, to lose its national identity".
Thirdly, for HCR to become a tourism product while retaining the traditional identity, there is a need for cohesion between 4 parties: State, businessmen, people, and scientists. The government must well perform the function of state management of HCR. Enterprises play a key role in the tourism industry, increasing the promotion and organization of tours and routes, creating new and attractive tourism programs and products to attract and retain tourists. People are communities who contribute their efforts and intellect in the process of managing and exploiting relics and they enjoy worthy benefits. Monuments only "live" when the people are really the subjects that create, preserve, preserve, exploit, and promote it. The process of restoration and embellishment of relics must have the contribution of effort and intellect of the scientists to ensure that the HCR are always kept "original".
Fourthly, not all DTLSVH become tourism products, but it is necessary to select typical monuments to focus investment on becoming a complete tourism product. Tourists want to explore and enjoy themselves according to their interests; Their needs are very diverse, as well as the HCR in the area is very rich. Therefore, there should be many products and different tourist routes to meet that demand. In BR-VT, tours can be formed: HCR tourism, cultural tourism, festivals, spirituality, ecology, food, architectural tour, or general tour ...
Integrating and maximizing the value of the HCR in the area to create a new and attractive tourism appearance that will change the mind of domestic and foreign tourists: To BR-VT, not only swimming, relaxing but also explore cultural history through a diverse system of relics, bringing many practical, interesting and rewarding values.
