Con Dao National Park Management Board has just organized and rewarded 10 individuals who have excellent achievements in waste collection and environmental protection in the Co Van Shrine, Hon Cau area.
Accordingly, on June 12nd, on the social network, Facebook appeared images of garbage including plastic bags, fruits, water bottles ... are visitors’ offerings left at the Mieu Co Van, Cau island. After seeing these pictures, Mr. Nguyen Van Bien, No.6 residential area, Con Dao district, called on some people who are the speed boat owners and drivers to travel with friends and voluntarily collect garbage in Cau island, put in more than 20 sacks and transported to the center island of Con Son for solving.
In order to promptly encourage these meaningful voluntary actions, Con Dao National Park Management Board has decided to unexpectedly reward 10 individuals involved in waste collection and environmental cleaning at the site of Mieu Co Van, Cau island.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Khac Pho, Director of Con Dao National Park Management Board acknowledged and praised the volunteer action to clean the beach for the environment, contributing to spreading the awareness of environmental protection in the community. At the same time, expecting that in the coming time, the volunteers will continue to accompany Con Dao National Park in collecting waste, protecting the environment, keeping the Con Dao ecosystem always green, clean and beautiful, and making Con Dao an attracted tourism destination.
