Viet Nam participates in MITT International Tourism Fair in Russia

The delegation include representatives of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, travel companies and airlines attended the 24th Moscow International Travel Fair (MITT- 2017) held in Russia's capital from March 14 to March 2017.

It is the largest annual tourist activity in Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (SNG). This is also one of the five largest travel fairs in the world. MITT 2017 attracted participation of nearly 1800 enterprises and representatives of 192 countries and territories.

Vietnam Pavilion at MITT 2017

 Participating in the MITT 2017, Vietnam Pavilion gathers a number of major domestic tourism companies and travel agencies with representative offices in Russia. Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has organized many activities to promote destinations and attractive types of tourism such as ecotourism, community tourism, adventure tourism; Familiar destinations with Russian tourists such as Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, Phu Quoc, etc, activities in the 2017 National Tourism Year with the theme "Colors of North West" ...

Traditional musical instrument performances, cocktail parties and showing traditional national costumes attracted attention and appreciation of businesses, the media and Russian people.

Press Conferencewith the theme "Travel Vietnam" at MITT 2017

Also at MITT 2017, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has coordinated with Tourism Department of Ho Chi Minh city to hold a press conference entitled "Vietnam Travel" with participation of representatives  of businesses, news agencies and visitors. Speaking at the press conference, Director of Tourism Market Department, Mr Dinh Ngoc Duc emphasized that traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Russia continues to be strengthened and developed in many fields, including tourism. At the press conference, besides the products, destinations, aviation products, policy of issuing electronic visa ... has been positively received by the press, Russian businesses. In addition, the delegation had a working session with the MITT Organizing Committee to propose  preferential policies for Vietnam tourism so that Viet Nam will continue to participate in the fair with larger booths in the following year.
