Visiting heroes, martyrs at Hang Duong cemetery, Con Dao

On the afternoon of July 12, 2017, the Liaison Board of Former Political prisoners in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a visiting heroes, martyrs and patriots sacrificed in Con Dao. Mr. Trinh Van Lau, a former Con Dao political prisoner - Head of the ceremony organizing committee, Prof. Dr  Vo Van Sen, principal of University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mr. Le Van Duc - Deputy Secretary of Con Dao district party committee and  more than 1,000 people including soldiers, cadres, civil servants and people on the island, especially over 500 former political prisoners across the country attended the ceremony.

The delegation put white roses on the martyr's graves

After the incense offering at the memorial, the delegation burn incense and placed branches of white roses on the heroes graves.

With the practical act, the delegation has created feelings and respect in people. This also lighted incense to commemorate persons sacrificed in prison for the independence, freedom of the country. We also have heartwarming moments because of paying a part of the grace  debt to the elders sacrificed for our country’s unity, peace today.
