Focus on development of tourism types of province

Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaperreported that on June 7th, 2018 Mr.Nguyen Thanh Long, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee presided over a meeting to hear Department of Tourism report a plan of developing tourism products up to 2025.

Ba Ria – Vung Tau Tourism Department reported that from now to 2025, the province will determine development of main types of tourism, including tourism, ecotourism, cultural tourism - festivals, MICE tourism, community tourism and hi-tech agricultural tourism. In particular, Vung Tau City with main products are relaxation, entertainment, shopping, conference; Long Dien district focuses on exploring products, experience fishing activities, craft villages; Xuyen Moc district exploits Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu forest, hot springs for ecological tourism, nursing; Phu My focuses on developing tours on the source of black tunic,Nui Dinh tourism area and spiritual tours; Chau Duc district develops garden and hi-tech agriculture; Con Dao district develops high-level spiritual and spiritual tourism.

Solutions to develop tourism products by 2025 include: Inviting and selecting qualified investors to implement project of Nui Dinh mountain, Safari wildlife sanctuary, Paradise tourism area, Chi Linh - Cua Lap; to complete the master plan on tourist development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province up to 2025, with orientations to 2030; Priority is given to large land funds, attract investors who are capable of financially investing in high-end tourism products, sports, arts and entertainment.

At the meeting, Mr.Nguyen Thanh Long basically agrees with tourism product development plan proposed by Department of Tourism and he asked the Department to finalize a plan and submit it to the PPC for approval.
