Con Dao district's government pay attention to propaganda, education, honoring the glorious history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the revolutionary cause of Vietnam and propaganda learning and doing according to Ho Chi Minh's moral example at all levels of government, branches, organizations and individuals; Criticizing the negative manifestations, gambling, superstitious, wasteful in the filial duty, joyful duty, festive season; Popularizing lines of the Party, policies and laws of the State;

Highlighting the great achievements of the Party and people in building and defending the socialist of country. In addition, they also introduce and promote fine customs and habits of the ethnic Vietnamese community to the international visitors. ... Con Dao promises to continue promoting the tradition of fighting, protecting and constructing so that Con Dao become a beautiful, civilized island.

Forms of propaganda include building fixed panel clusters, decorating the flag, banners, posters, etc... Cutting and pasting banners at headquarters of agencies, units, armed forces and resident area, Flagging at working offices and households; Besides, Con Dao district combined with Hoang Son & Chuoi Meo entertainment company to organize an artistic performance for officers, soldiers and Con Dao people on 03/04/2017 and hold another performing arts programs for officers, soldiers and Con Dao people on 28/04/2017. Sports activities and tourism: organizing a manoeuvres in Con Dao district including sports activities and rich and diverse folk games to create a healthy and useful playground for people and organizations, holding the 12th regatta of Con Dao district.

Tourism businesses refurbished material facilities, improve quality of existing tourist products, organized more activities in the field of tourism such as food, entertainment events ..., strengthen checking task to promptly detect and strictly handle cases of violations of the price of travel services. Con Dao district's government also organized the bird singing contest to create a healthy, useful playground and visited Hang Duong Cemetery at 7:00 pm on 29th April, 2017.
