People of Con Dao will solemnly hold the 231st of Ms Phi Yen’s death anniversary (31/10/16)

People of  Con Dao district solemnly held  annualMs Phi Yen’s death anniversary in the dignified air. This expresses culture, civilizationand raising awareness of people's responsibility in preserving and promoting the national character. This activity also enriches tourism products to attract domestic and international tourists.

The anniversary of  2016 includes the mass for sacrifice, the mass of  the incense offering, ceremony for visiting,folk cultural activities, via legend commemorate the merit of LadyPhi Yen; holds ritual of a the death anniversaryin accordance with traditions of our nation.

 The death anniversarywill be taken place in two days, 16th and 17th  November2016. They will hold the mass for sacrifice and the mass of  incense offering on 16th November according to the folk religion. The official ceremony will be taken place at 10:00 am on 17th Novembertookat Phi Yen temple. Especially this year, there will be many folk games. They will also arrange the  “Don Ca Tai Tu” programat 19:00 pm on 16th November.
