Workshop on survey, promotion tourism market and orienting Con Dao tourism products

More than 30 delegates representing  for Northern travel companies attended the seminar.Mr Nguyen Anh Nhut - vice president of People's Committee of Con Dao Districtshowed potentials and direction for development of Con Dao tourism.  He asserts that the strength of sea and ??forest with many attractive and beautifulbeaches and famous relics. Discussingin the workshop, delegates gave many realistic and sincereideas about the strengths and shortcomings in development of Con Dao tourism products. They also mention many solutions to develop tourism in general and tourism products of local in particular. They went into the details of evaluatingfeasibility and identified key products of Con Dao tourism such as spiritual tourism, historical tourism, ecotourism, ...;At the same time, they proposed direction of developing tourism products basing on local strengths to conserve specific - attractive - competitiveness elements in the market. Besides, creatingimpressive points to attract tourists, calling for investment in tourism to developthe island, solving difficulties in transportation between islands and the mainland and so on are mentioned in the seminar.

Above ideas of  delegateswill be the basis for professional departments researching, selecting. After that the departments will give Con Dao district leaders advices for developing projects, plans and focusing resources on developing specific tourism products of Con Dao to quickly introduce to the travel agents, tourists, businesses and foreign investors who intend to invest in tourism on the island.
