STEERING COMMITTEE OF PREVENTION AND COMBAT OF TERRORISM CON DAO DISTRICT MEET INSPECTION OF THE NATIONAL CIVIL AVIATION SECURITY COMMITTEE.

Recently, the National Civil Aviation Security Committee had a meeting with the Steering Committee of the prevention of terrorism, protests, and Emergency in aviation of Con Dao district (Steering Committee). Welcoming and working with the delegation were Mr. Le Van Phong, Chairman of District People's Committee, Head of the Committee; Steering Committee members; leaders of district specialized divisions.

At the meeting, the inspection team heard the report on the results of overcoming the recommendations of the Chairman of the Aviation Security Committee to the local Steering Committee for Countering Terrorism; The report for the first 6 months of the year and the task directions for the last 06 months of 2019.
According to the report of the Steering Committee, in the first 6 months, the situation of security and order in the locality was stable; ensure absolute safety, flights to and from Con Dao Airport. Regarding the coordination among agencies, units and localities seriously, strictly comply with the assigned functions and tasks; promptly detect and handle violations; Propaganda is paid attention and attention.
Also on the occasion of the meeting, the Steering Committee of terrorism, protests, and aviation emergency prevention in Con Dao district had some recommendations to the inspection team such as the amendment and supplement of sanctions handling violations of using ultra-light aircraft, illegal fly cam; allowing many airlines to open routes to Con Dao; expanding and upgrading the system of stations and runways to meet the needs of passenger transport.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Tran Huu Nam, Deputy Director, Operation Department, General Staff Department, and Ministry of Defense praised the Steering Committee's achievements in recent years. At the same time, it is required that the Steering Committee continues to promote the propagation and dissemination of knowledge and law on transport culture, security and aviation safety in all classes of people; investing in modern equipment and facilities; organize aviation safety training courses; promptly respond to unexpected situations, when they occur in Con Dao district area, especially Con Dao airport area.
