The People's Committeeof Con Dao District has decided on strengthening the duty of a group that control the hotlines intourism field.

Speedboat SuperdongJSC wishes to ask the pemission to run a high-speed boat on Con Dao - Soc Trang route.

According to Decision No. 870/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approved on 17th June 2015, Con Dao island will become a ecology, culture - historical - spiritual tourism destination with high and special quality in the Southeast Asia region and international areas. To achieve the above objectives, the investment incentives, the policies of the State and social activities in the tourism field will be developed strongly in the furture.

Con Dao – an island district belongs to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. It is far away 185 kilometers from Vung Tau city, 230 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, 85 kilometers from the Mekong Delta (Song Hau estuary). This island includes 16 islands and islets. The total nature area is 7.678 ha. Con Son Island is the main and the largest island with ??6.128 ha. Con Dao National Park Management Board has just held the second campaign of collecting, treating waste in 2016 in some locations such as the beach area of Bai Bo, Bai Duong, Bay Canh, Dam Tre Bay and Cat Ba Lon. This is the area suffered a large amount of trash from the ocean.
